We are pleased to be able to offer this streaming component for those who choose to attend the Maine Real Estate & Development Association's (MEREDA's) 2022 Spring Conference virtually.  

About the Event:  MEREDA is excited to bring you its 2022 Annual Spring Conference on May 24, 2022 in-person at the Holiday Inn By the Bay, 88 Spring Street, Portland, ME, or Virtually.  

Infrastructure 2022:  Bridges, Broadband, & Roads:  What the Infrastructure Bill means for Maine's Real Estate Economy.

DECD Commissioner, Heather Johnson, MDOT Director of Planning, Dale Doughty, & Dr. Charles Colgan to speak on the Infrastructure Bill’s Impact on Maine.

No matter what party you are affiliated with - there has been talk in the last decade by the federal government of the need for a widespread investment in America.  The recently enacted Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act addresses the need to rebuild roads, bridges, water/wastewater, critical housing and support, and expand overall connectivity - be it physically related to transportation as well as broadband access.  The roughly $1.2 trillion bill contains an estimated $550 billion in new spending above baseline levels.  This spending touches every sector of infrastructure, from transportation and water, to energy, broadband, and the resilience of rehabilitation of our nation's natural resources. 

We have a great panel of experts joining us.  In the meantime, make plans to attend MEREDA's 2022 Spring Conference, and learn about the impact these dollars will have on Maine and the region as the federal and state government disperse these funds. 

We'll also unveil the 2022 MEREDA Index, as well as recognize our 2021 Notable Project Recipients. 

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS:  Application has been made for IN-PERSON ONLY Continuing Education Credits. 

This course has been approved for three hours of In-Person Only Broker, Appraiser, & Architect Continuing Education Credits, as well as 1 hour of Legal credits.

IMPORTANT:  Upon registration, you will receive an email with the link and access code you will need to view the program.  Do not share the link as it is a unique link and access code specific to your registration.  The access codes are limited to one IP address / device at a time.  Please only log in once on the device you intend to use for the entire program and.  (We've discovered it is best if you do not log in more than 5 minutes prior to start time.)  Otherwise, if you are trying to access the program on a second device, you will be locked out of the program for 1 hour.   

Also, please do not log out or close the window during the afternoon break as this will also lock you out for another hour.  Please keep your connection open at all times.

REFUND POLICY: No refunds will be granted to anyone who registers but fails to attend or who cancels after May 17.   Refunds may only be issued when the originating stream fails and the program cannot take place.
